If it's your first time with Diana, your appointment will begin with a thorough consultation about your concerns and skin care products you're using at home. Based on your discussion and an assessment of your skin, Diana will offer her suggestions for which facial is best for you. Once your facial treatment has been decided upon, you will either change into a robe in privacy and get under the covers on the facial bed, or keep your clothes on and lie atop the blanketed bed if it's a Hydrafacial or short treatment like a chemical peel. In this instance, your shirt collar and shoulders will be protected with a towel covering. To begin the facial, your skin will be double-cleansed with two different types of cleansers. Diana will remove makeup as necessary, so there's no need to come without if you don't want to. The specific facial will begin at this point, sometimes warm towels and/or steam will be used and then your skin will be exfoliated depending on the facial. A thorough skin analysis will be performed and various creams, serums, masks will be applied and removed during the treatment. 60 minute facials include a face, neck and shoulder massage, or just neck and shoulder if you are doing microcurrent and sometimes dermaplaning. When your facial is complete, you will have a few minutes to relax in comfort and change in privacy.

Are facial treatments worth the money?
It is always worth taking care of yourself and getting a facial improves skin health. So from that perspective, yes, it is worth getting a facial. But you must also ask yourself a few questions before committing to a facial or to a particular Esthetician in Naples. Whether or not facials are worth getting depends on a variety of factors. For example, is it a quality treatment that will give you the results or experience you're looking for? Does the price of the facial match the service you're getting? Do you have a budget or a price range for a facial in mind? Ask yourself these questions and you will certainly be able to decide the right facial that is worth it for you.
How often should you get a facial?
The rule of thumb for when to get a facial is once a month. When we're younger, our skin cells turn over at around 28 days, but as we age, our cell turnover slows. So, the 4 week mark is aimed at bringing the skin closer to that youthful state. Depending on your age and your skin's condition, 3 weeks might be better for you - especially if you're dealing with sun damage, wrinkles or excessive dry skin. For some people, 5-6 weeks could be okay. I usually tell my clients that whatever time frame works for their schedule, lifestyle and budget is best. There is truly no "one-size fits all" when it comes to skin care and getting a facial even once or twice a year is better than none.
What type of facial is best for me?
In my experience, the Hydrafacial is the best non-invasive facial you can get - generally speaking. If you're talking about facials - meaning a non-invasive skin care treatment performed by an Esthetician - not a medical invasive treatment, a Hydrafacial will give you the most dramatically visible results, the longest lasting results and is one of the healthiest facials available anywhere. Especially when you combine Hydrafacial with dermaplaning or microcurrent, the anti-aging results are incredible. That said, what's best for you is not best for someone else. So the only way to truly answer that question is to book a consultation / skin analysis and go from there. The best way to start is to ask yourself what concerns you the most about your skin when you look in the mirror. This is the type of thing you'll discuss in a consultation with Diana.
How much should a facial be?
How much a facial should be depends upon so many different factors, including: your geographical area, the type of facial business it is - whether it's a day spa chain, a luxury resort spa, an individual esthetician, the type of facial treatment it is, the quality of products used, the amount of experience the esthetician has, the length of the facial service and so on. Some basic facials can cost as low as $69 on Groupon using basic products. Then there are high end facial treatments that can cost upwards of $500 and be two hours long. It's fair to say that the typical price range for an effective, 60 minute facial using high quality products with an experienced esthetician in a small to large city is generally anywhere in the range of $150 to $350.
